Six Flags Great Adventure Hurricane Irene Flood Repairs

New Jersey’s iconic theme park sustained damage from 2011’s Hurricane Irene. Between the Saw Mill Log Flume, Runaway Mine Train, and El Toro, the substrate underneath the pedestrian walkway washed out. IEW Construction Group was there to replenish the supporting substrate, cast new retaining structures, build and repoint damaged masonry and pave a new walkway. IEW was able to bid and complete the emergency work and allow the park to reopen their attractions in a minimum amount of time.
