PSE&G Levittown

In the wake of the mid-Atlantic power industry’s initiative to expand and protect our critical power infrastructure, IEW began their part in this vital program by completing work at the Levittown Substation for PSE&G. The PSE&G Burlington-Camden 230kV upgrade project will ensure reliable electric power for the southern NJ region by upgrading the transmission system and substations. IEW was responsible for the below grade construction such as foundations, drainage, ground grid, duct banks and trenching. IEW also constructed the transformer fire and sound walls, as well as retaining walls and access roads. This project literally laid the groundwork to upgrade all lines at this substation to 230kV.
