Burlington Bristol Bridge Projects

Constructed in 1930, the Burlington Bristol Bridge is a 2,301 ft long truss bridge with a vertical lift span utilizing large concrete counterweights. IEW Construction Group has worked intimately with various aspects of this bridge through BCBC maintenance contracts as well as capital projects. Among the areas that IEW has addressed on this bridge: repointing of masonry, painting steel, counterweight cabling, counterweight repair, roadwork, traveler systems, access ladders and platforms and maintenance and protection of traffic.
